My aplogies in adavance for my very poor knowledge of Darja. Can anyone recommend a book or CD I could buy which covers basic phrases in Darja for English language speakers. For example phrases like:

Thank you= Saha
Hello = ?
How are you = ?
Good morning = ?
Good afternoon = ?
Good evening = ?
My name is ... = ?
What is your name = ?
I hope you are well = ?
Good to see you again = ?
I'm grateful for your help = ?

If such a book does not exist perhaps a Basic Greetings section could be added to the Darja Beginners project.

If anyone could translate the above English phrases into Darja I would be very grateful. It would give me someting to practice.

Saha

I totaly agree with Adam, is better for people who want to learn Darja, to learn standard Arabic, cos is more useful than the darja, first the standard arabic is understandable and comprehensible, but the darja in other hand is only spoken in Algeria especially the one's we are talking about is in Algiers city.
